Quest Academy
Quest Academy is a home educators co-operative serving the home school community in the Knox, Loudon, Anderson, Roane, and Blount County areas in East Tennessee. Take a few minutes to browse our site. Current members will find lots of good information about this year's plans, and new or potential families can get an idea of who we are and what we are all about. Quest is not your average home school co-op! A few minutes spent getting to know us will help you determine if we will meet your needs. If you like what you see here, or if you have any additional questions, be sure to check out the "Contact Us" page to the left. We'll get back with you as soon as possible and arrange a meeting.
Quest Academy is different that most other co-operatives in many ways. By closely controlling our size and limiting it to around 40 families, we have maintained an environment small enough for close relationships be formed, but large enough for a diverse community of people. We only meet once a week on Tuesday. High school students start at 9:00am. Everyone else starts at 10:00am with all classes ending at 3:30pm. We will start back on Aug. 24 and end May 17. We have 4 sessions approximately 8 weeks each and take a winter break from mid December and return the second week of Feb. We do this to give families a time to relax and enjoy the holidays.
Quest Academy's Tuesday classes provide both academic and enrichment classes. If you are looking for enrichment only classes check out our Friday classes, Quest Academy of the Arts. We will offer 4 classes this year: ceramics, photography, sewing, and wood crafts. These classes are still in the planning stages and may change a little but will always be "art" related and LOTS of fun!
