Quest Academy
Parent's Nights: We try to have a Parent's Night once a month where the parents get together and have fun. In the past, we have had an Iron Chef cook-off, a battle of the sexes game night, and our annual gingerbread house building contest.
Field Trips: We do many local field trips throughout the year. Each year we go to the TN Valley Fair, Disney on Ice, and plays at the Oak Ridge Jr. Playhouse. Those and others will be posted both on the Quest email loop as well as the Quest Academy Home School FB group and page.
Additionally, each year, we have a class trip that highlights one of the class themes for the year. Previous trips include the Georgia Aquarium, the Hermitage, the Parthenon, Washington D.C., The Wilderness Lodge, Ruby Falls, Rock City, and Colonial Williamsburg. One year the high school class went to Italy! This year some ideas include Boston and The Creation Museum.
Each month at co-op we have a "fun day" where they kids get to dress up if they choose to. For example we have a crazy hat day, twin day, crazy hair day, etc.
We have a field day each year in April or May. That day we play games outside and cookout hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch. It is great fun!
We take individual and class pictures for our yearbook. The school pictures are available for purchase as well.
Our group hosts dances several times a year. We also host the annual High School Prom which is open to all teens in our area.
